FedCSIS a yearly international multi-conference organized by the Polish Information Processing Society (PTI) in technical cooperation with the IEEE Region 8, IEEE Poland (Gdansk) Section Computer Society Chapter, Poland Section Computational Intelligence Society Chapter, ACM Special Interest Group on Applied Computing, Lodz ACM Chapter, European Alliance for Innovation, Polish Operational and Systems Research Society - POSRS, Eastern Cluster ICT Poland, Mazovia Cluster ICT. ISM constitutes a forum for the exchange of ideas for practitioners and theorists working in the broad area of information systems management in organizations. The conference invites papers coming from two complimentary directions: management of information systems in an organization, and uses of information systems to empower managers. The conference is interested in all aspects of planning, organizing, resourcing, coordinating, controlling and leading the management function to ensure a smooth operation of information systems in an organization. Moreover, the papers that discuss the uses of information systems and information technology to automate or otherwise facilitate the management function are specifically welcome. CALL FOR PAPERS 1st International Conference on Information Technologies in Management (ICoITIM 2015) Warszawa, Poland, November 26-27, 2015 http://icoitim.wsm.warszawa.pl/ We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the 1st edition of the International Conference on Information Technologies in Management. Its main purpose is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the current issues concerning application of information technologies in management. We envision also an opportunity, for the software companies, to demonstrate their solutions. ICoITIM 2015 is organized by Warsaw Management University, Faculty of Management and Technical Science, in technical cooperation with: Masovia Chapter of the Polish Information Processing Society, IT in Management Section of the Polish Information Processing Society, Association for Computing Machinery - Lodz ACM Chapter. CALL FOR EVENTS Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems Gdansk, Poland, 11-14 September, 2016 www.fedcsis.org The 2016 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems cordially invites you to consider contributing an Event (conference, symposium, workshop, consortium meeting, project dissemination meeting, special session, etc.). The FedCSIS multi-conference consists of a significant number of recurring Events and it welcomes proposals for new Events until October 30, 2015. The Events can run over any span of time within the conference dates; from half-day to three days. The FedCSIS Events provide a platform for bringing together researchers, practitioners, and academia to present and discuss ideas, challenges, and potential solutions on established or emerging topics related to research and practice in computer science and information systems. The Events will be selected based on the scientific/technical interest and/or their relevance to practitioners in their topics, the clarity of the proposal in addressing the requested information, the innovativeness of the Event topics, and the fit with the FedCSIS multi-conference program. The FedCSIS 2015 - held in Lodz, Poland - attracted 379 papers, of which 86 were accepted as full papers (acceptance rate of approximately 23%). Some events accepted additionally short and position papers. FedCSIS 2015 full and short papers are being submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, while position papers are being published in a separate volume of the Annals of Computer Science and Information systems series (publication process will be completed by November 30, 2015). PUBLICATIONS As in previous years, FedCSIS preprints will be published on a USB memory stick given to FedCSIS participants. Only papers presented during the conference will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (or will appear as position papers, published in a separate volume), and posted at the conference WWW site. The IEEE DL proceedings will be published with an ISBN, ISSN and DOI numbers (and, an IEEE Catalog number), under a nonexclusive copyright. Such copyright implies that Events' organizers can and, indeed, are strongly encouraged to invite extended and revised papers for post-conference publications in high-quality journals, edited volumes, etc. EVENT PROPOSALS Event proposals should include the following information (2 pages maximum): 1. The nature of the Event. 2. The title of the Event, and a clear description of the topic, including a brief justification. 3. The complete contact information of the Event organizers, including a link to their personal websites, and an overview of previous experiences with organization of scientific events. 4. Preliminary list of PC members who have agreed to join. 5. Indication of the expected number of papers/attendees to attend the Event. 6. Position papers must not exceed 8 pages and they should relate to an ongoing research or experience. Position papers will be presented by the authors alongside regular papers. Position papers may be also submitted as DEMO PAPERS and presented as demonstrations of software tools and products. They should describe non-for-profit software tools in a prototype-, alpha-, or beta-version. We invite TWO TYPES OF POSITION PAPERS: - EMERGING RESEARCH PAPERS present preliminary research results from work-in-progress based on sound scientific approach but presenting work not completely validated as yet. They must describe precisely the research problem and its rationale. They must also define the intended future work including the expected benefits from solution to the tackled problem. - CHALLENGE PAPERS propose and describe research challenges in theory or practice of computer science and information systems. The papers in this category must be based on deep understanding of existing research or industrial problems and should be defining new promising research directions. POSITION PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION: Position papers will be published as a SEPARATE ELECTRONIC VOLUME, WITH an ISBN, ISSN and DOI numbers. These papers will NOT be placed in the IEEE Digital Library and will NOT be submitted to Thomson Reuters Web of Science. However, they will be indexed in the BazEcon database, and submitted for indexing to: SciVerse Scopus, Inspec, DBLP Computer Science Bibliography and Google Scholar. Authors should submit a position paper in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, using the on-line submission procedure. The guidelines for paper formatting provided at the conference website ought to be used for all submitted papers. The required submission format is the same as the camera-ready format. Please check, and carefully follow, the instructions and templates provided. Papers that are out of the conference scope of the selected event, or that contain any form of (self)plagiarism will be rejected without reviews. All position papers will be refereed before inclusion in the conference program. FedCSIS is an annual international multi-conference organized by the Polish Information Processing Society (PTI) in technical cooperation with the IEEE Region 8, IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Poland Section Computer Society Chapter, IEEE Poland (Gdansk) Section Computer Society Chapter, IEEE-CIS Poland Section Chapter, ACM Special Interest Group on Applied Computing, ACM Lodz Chapter, European Alliance for Innovation, Committee of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Operational and Systems Research Society, Eastern Cluster ICT Poland, and Mazovia Cluster ICT. The main purpose of AITM is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the current issues of IT in business applications. There will be also the opportunity to demonstrate by the software houses and firms their solutions as well as achievements in management information systems. TOPICS ======================================= The topics of interest include but are not limited to: - Concepts and methods of business informatics - Business Process Management and Management Systems (BPM and BPMS) - Management Information Systems (MIS) - Enterprise information systems (ERP, CRM, SCM, etc.) - Business Intelligence methods and tools - Strategies and methodologies of IT implementation - IT projects & IT projects management - IT governance, efficiency and effectiveness - Decision Support Systems and data mining - Intelligence and mobile IT - Cloud computing, SOA, Web services - Agent-based systems - Business-oriented ontologies, topic maps - Knowledge-based and intelligent systems in management PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION ======================================= Papers should be submitted by April 24, 2015. Preprints will be published on a USB memory stick provided to the FedCSIS participants. Only papers presented during the conference will be submitted to the IEEE for inclusion in the Xplore Digital Library. Furthermore, proceedings, published in a volume with ISBN and ISSN numbers will posted at the conference WWW site. Moreover, most Events' organizers arrange quality journals, edited volumes, etc. and may invite selected extended and revised papers for post-conference publications (information can be found at the websites of individual events).
