FYI: My hope is that our UK contingent (IBMers, but perhaps including Martin if he happens to be in UK at the time) can do a status update session at this meeting. Hi, I would like to continue the discussion of Default and Null values from last Friday. Specifically I would like to discuss : 1. Defaulting values on output. 2. How should the scenario where an element has initiator if it has a real value but if it is to be treated as null it has a special value that takes the place of both the initiator and the value. Start of Rewrite of Syntax Section

Hi Mike, etc, Please find attached the start of a rewrite of the syntax rules. My apologies for not getting further with this. I had hoped to work on it yesterday and today, but a gas leak from my central heating got in the way! I wondered why my head had been aching... On Monday I start my new job at Adobe. I will stay subscribed to the mailing list and will be interested to monitor the progress of the specification. With a bit of luck I'll be able to resume my involvement at some stage.
