This technology promises an immense potential for improving the quality of life, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, etc. The use of the IoT in smart buildings has a great importance and promising outcomes with a direct impact on our society. Researchers and industrial partners have achieved several applications where they have leveraged various enabling technologies for service enhancement. Many sectors in a smart city can benefit from an enhanced data collection and effective data analysis process done on the data gathered from these smart building devices that mainly consist of HVAC systems. However, the incremental number of connected IoT devices request a scalable and robust network. Consequently, it rises the attack surfaces of devices as well as their connections, which make them more exposed to internal and external at tacks. Cyber Security risks continue to evolve as well in both quantity in the same domains as well new types and ways on how to break into computing systems, software applications, websites, databases, programmable networks etc. For example, monitoring the car manufacturing industry, we can see that recent car models have more complex hardware components and automated programmable features in comparison with their earlier models, this will increase the risk associated with protecting such systems. Same thing can be applicable to most other engineering products. HotMobile's small workshop format makes it ideal for presenting and discussing new directions or controversial approaches. We solicit submissions of papers that (1) focus primarily on systems and applications and (2) propose new directions of research, advocate non-traditional approaches to old (or new) ideas, or generate controversy and discussion. The second generation (Web 2.0) encouraged users to share information and interact and collaborate with each other by posting their user-generated contents in virtual communities. The development of Web 2.0 allowed many new social networking sites to flourish such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Plus+, Tumblr, Instagram, VK, Flickr, Vine, and many others. This area of research has been constantly gaining momentum and attention over the past few years as textual material become available in abundance (social networks and web content) and advanced computational power becomes accessible. This resulted in an interesting array of practical applications. This is evident in the number of conferences, conference tracks, workshops, special issues of journals dedicated to or issues related to ANLP. Another indication of this growing interest is the surge of papers, books, and other forms of publications related to NLP. Noticeably, deep learning is dominating NLP as it did to other areas of artificial intelligence. Deep learning is the modern application of earlier neural network technology but with multiple layers that made possible with modern computing technology. The application of deep learning technology to NLP is progressing at a fast pace, and it is anticipated that we will see many exciting new discoveries here in the next few years. Therefore, the objective of this workshop is to present current and future advances in NLP. Authors are encouraged to submit their original work, which is not submitted elsewhere, to this workshop. Proceedings of the workshops will be published by the IEEE Conference Publishing Services (CPS) and will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE-Xplore and the IEEE Computer Society (CSDL) digital libraries. MCC integrates different major technologies such as smart devices technologies (phones, tablets, watches, …etc), cloud services, big data, and cloud computing in one platform that services the end users. Despite the rapid growth of MCC, many issues are still challenging and need to be addressed.
