Hi all, FYI the GLUE v2.0 XML rendering has been published: http://www.ogf.org/documents/GFD.209.pdf Regarding the cloud extensions: I expect that the abstract entities defined in this XSD (e.g. AbstractService, AbstractEndpoint, AbstractShare, AbstractManager etc...) could be extended to derive the new cloud entities/types in and extension XSD, e.g. CloudComputeService, CloudComputeEndpoint, CloudComputeShare. This could be done in exactly the same way as the existing GLUE 2 concrete entities (ComputingService, ComputingEndpoint, StorageShare and so on). I'm sorry I can't make it to the meeting today. Glue1 material?

Hi all, We have a problem. I was searching for reference documents to Glue1 today and I couldn't find any. Appartently the one and only: https://forge.ogf.org/sf/go/doc14185 has been removed from sourceforege and never moved to redmine. Anybody who has a copy willing to add it back in redmine? I am also searching for references on how it is used in the current EGI/OpenGrid deployment, probably some of you can give me pointers. New version of the GLUE proposal for cloud

Dear GLUE WG, following the many comments, I re-shaped the proposal of the GLUE extension to represent Cloud Services. I removed the new storage elements proposed, since, as Paul pointed, Grid and Cloud Storage are quite similar concepts and in the end the difference is just a matter of nomenclature (files vs data-objects) and service Capabilities. Anyway, I am proposing some small changes to the storage entities and their description, which are highlighted in the document. I have also named the new proposal "GLUE 2.1", since, in my opinion, I think it is not an extension anymore but a new minor version, but we can discuss about that and the other changes in the teleconference this evening. Final XML rendering specification documents

Dear GLUE community, As was discussed on Tuesday's (Oct 22) teleconference, we plan to submit our final XML rendering documents to the OGF Editor (Greg Newby) this coming Monday for final review and publishing. Please look over the documents by COB Friday October 25th and reply if you see any final significant errors, formatting errors, or spelling errors. Hi all, Are there any more comments/votes regarding the proposed change of the Document root element name from '<Entities>' to '<Glue>' (see original message copied below)? So far, 2 votes for (DM, JP) and 1 vote against (Florido). Since the Ldap rendering defines 'glue' as the root attribute in an RDN string, similarly we could consider changing the Document Root element from '<Entities>' to '<Glue>'. This is a v.minor change and would be more consistent with the ldap rendering. What do you think?
