Dear OGF Work Group members,
Thanks for your responses so far to the call for session requests below. Please note that XSEDE 2013 is coming up soon, and we do need your responses as soon as possible for this request
To make things definite and to allow for planning, we are now setting a DEADLINE of June 24 for receipt of session requests for OGF 38b, co-located with XSEDE 2013. We have received some session requests already, and plan to put together a special session on OGF Standards in XSEDE, but also need the Area Directors and group chairs / groups to let us know by the above deadline of any other session requests if at all possible, since we are scheduling in to a big complicated conference and need to have the greatest possible coherence to make this work.
The groups have also been very productive recently in terms produced OGF documents. Please take note of several recently published completed documents as well as others that are now in public comment, as noted recently by the OGF Editor, at the links below.
Published OGF Documents: http://ogf.org/documents
Submit an OGF Document: http://redmine.ogf.org/projects/editor/issues/new
- See http://redmine.ogf.org/projects/editor/issues for a list of the documents in the pipeline and http://ogf.org/documents/GFD.152.pdf for a description of the document process, summarized here: http://redmine.ogf.org/projects/editor/wiki/About_OGF_Documents
Documents open for public comment: http://redmine.ogf.org/projects/editor-pubcom/boards
(Please read and comment! The OGF process depends on your input.)
Thanks again and we hope to see you at an OGF meeting soon!
