This NIST "Standards Roadmap" working document has now reached an advanced stage, however, and I would like to invite anyone in OGF who has comments to please read it and IMPORTANTLY: provide comments to be given to the NIST working group on the US Federal Government cloud standards roadmap using the attached form. I encourage involvement from members of the OGF community in this and the similar European Community SIENA effort, which has its own procedures that are familiar to many of you, or other global, local or regional standards roadmap efforts. This is a gentle reminder to provide your comments, if any, on the Eleventh Working Draft of NIST Cloud Computing Standards Roadmap document. The comment disposition will be discussed on the teleconference call, 1:00 P.M. ET, Thursday, May 12, 2011. The next version of this document will be considered as the first edition of the NIST Cloud Computing Standards Roadmap document.
Moving forward from that point, we have uploaded a revision to the charter. This attached draft will be reviewed at next week teleconference as well.
