Haas Abstract: This document describes experiences in the implementation of the Distributed Resource Management Application API (DRMAA) specification for the N1 Grid Engine workload management system. The document reports about issues that where identified during implementation and test of the DRMAA C library for N1 Grid Engine, which was evaluated successfully with the DRMAA working group compliance test for C bindings. Savva, H. Kishimoto, S. Newhouse, D. Pulsipher Abstract: The OGSA EMS (execution management services) architecture defines a number of services and XML document types. To illustrate their combined use a set of scenarios is described in this document. The scenarios cover basic job submission, selection of resources, and deployment of resources. The emphasis is on using already published specifications, or specifications in the last stages of approval. In all scenarios a list of required specifications is included.
