We expect most OGF sessions to take place during the early to middle portion of the CAC 2014 event, and the workshop is on the last day (Sep. 12). Dear Colleague,
Based on the recent work I've been doing trying to get support for Virtual Organizations in OpenStack, David Bernstein and I are organizing a workshop to be held in London, during the week of December 8-11 (probably December 8th), as part of the Utility and Cloud Computing Conference (UCC 2014). The draft CFP is attached.
Beyond just presenting papers, I want to leverage this event to identify and promote future "inter-cloud" work -- not only in "big science" but also in industry, government, and funding agencies.
We've already gotten representation from the NIST/NSTIC project (Andrew Hughes), XSEDE (Ryan Braby) and EGI (Alvaro Lopez Garcia). Nativi comes from the geospatial data community and is a co-PI in one of the NSF EarthCube Building Blocks project.
