Dear colleagues,

Please join us on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm EDT for an open community workshop meeting on research computing and data ROI-related topics sponsored by the Coalition for Advanced Scientific Computation (CASC). The workshop will be followed by a virtual social hour.

The goals of this workshop are to:
The workshop will be broken down into three one hour sessions. The first hour will focus on the background of the CASC "ROI for Academic Uses of Data Centers and Clouds" working group efforts to date. The second hour will include perspective from other entities that are or have been involved in similar efforts, including CaRRC, NAG, and Virginia Tech. The third hour will consist of facilitated breakout discussions, report outs, and next steps.

This workshop is open to the entire research computing and data community, and CASC encourages participation from those who have strong interest in ROI for our field.
