Dear OGF Community - This is a reminder that the deadline for Applications AD nominations is today, November 12, 2010.
OGF has an opening for the position of Applications Area Director.
The Applications Area explores grid application development issues and programming interfaces required by grid applications and currently comprises the Distributed Resource Management Application API WG (DRMAA-WG), Grid Remote Procedure Call WG (GRIDRPC-WG) and Simple API For Grid Applications WG (SAGA-WG).
The Applications Area Director manages technical and organizational contacts with other areas of OGF and the flow of document approvals through the OGF process as a member of the Standards Council, helps field and shepherd requests for new working groups and serves as the contact for the area to the Standards Council.
