CALL FOR PAPERS 1st International Conference on Information Technologies in Management (ICoITIM 2015) Warszawa, Poland, November 26-27, 2015 http://icoitim.wsm.warszawa.pl/ We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the 1st edition of the International Conference on Information Technologies in Management. Its main purpose is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the current issues concerning application of information technologies in management. We envision also an opportunity, for the software companies, to demonstrate their solutions. ICoITIM 2015 is organized by Warsaw Management University, Faculty of Management and Technical Science, in technical cooperation with: Masovia Chapter of the Polish Information Processing Society, IT in Management Section of the Polish Information Processing Society, Association for Computing Machinery - Lodz ACM Chapter. Keynote lecture entitled “*Software Security in the Enterprise: Research Directions” will be delivered by Janusz Zalewski (Florida Gulf Coast University, USA).* TOPICS The topics of interest include but are not limited to: * Concepts and methods of business IT * Applications of information technologies in management * Business Intelligence methods and tools - Intelligence, decision support systems and data mining - Knowledge-based and intelligent systems - Big Data - Ontologies and semantic data processing * IT projects and IT project management * IT governance, efficiency and effectiveness * Mobile IT in management * Cloud computing, SOA, Web services * Software agents and agent systems * Information systems security SUBMISSIONS Initial submissions (extended abstracts approximately one page), in the form of the PDF file, should be completed through the conference-provided EasyChair mechanism (link available at the conference WWW site, where further instructions can also be found). It is possible to deliver a presentation without a publication. CONFERENCE LANGUAGE FOR PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION English is the sole conference language (for presentations). However, contributions can be published in either Polish or English (depending on the total number of presentations, two separate volumes of Conference Proceedings may be published). CALL FOR EVENTS Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems Gdansk, Poland, 11-14 September, 2016 www.fedcsis.org The 2016 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems cordially invites you to consider contributing an Event (conference, symposium, workshop, consortium meeting, project dissemination meeting, special session, etc.). The FedCSIS multi-conference consists of a significant number of recurring Events and it welcomes proposals for new Events until October 30, 2015. The Events can run over any span of time within the conference dates; from half-day to three days. The FedCSIS Events provide a platform for bringing together researchers, practitioners, and academia to present and discuss ideas, challenges, and potential solutions on established or emerging topics related to research and practice in computer science and information systems. The Events will be selected based on the scientific/technical interest and/or their relevance to practitioners in their topics, the clarity of the proposal in addressing the requested information, the innovativeness of the Event topics, and the fit with the FedCSIS multi-conference program. The FedCSIS 2015 - held in Lodz, Poland - attracted 379 papers, of which 86 were accepted as full papers (acceptance rate of approximately 23%). Some events accepted additionally short and position papers. FedCSIS 2015 full and short papers are being submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, while position papers are being published in a separate volume of the Annals of Computer Science and Information systems series (publication process will be completed by November 30, 2015). PUBLICATIONS As in previous years, FedCSIS preprints will be published on a USB memory stick given to FedCSIS participants. Only papers presented during the conference will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (or will appear as position papers, published in a separate volume), and posted at the conference WWW site. The IEEE DL proceedings will be published with an ISBN, ISSN and DOI numbers (and, an IEEE Catalog number), under a nonexclusive copyright. Such copyright implies that Events' organizers can and, indeed, are strongly encouraged to invite extended and revised papers for post-conference publications in high-quality journals, edited volumes, etc. EVENT PROPOSALS Event proposals should include the following information (2 pages maximum): 1. The nature of the Event. 2. The title of the Event, and a clear description of the topic, including a brief justification. 3. The complete contact information of the Event organizers, including a link to their personal websites, and an overview of previous experiences with organization of scientific events. 4. Preliminary list of PC members who have agreed to join. 5. Indication of the expected number of papers/attendees to attend the Event. 6. Information of expected post-Event publications, of extended and revised papers, in high-quality journals, edited volumes, etc. Event organizers should email their proposals (in a single pdf file) by October 30, 2015, to the FedCSIS Secretariat at: secretariat(a)fedcsis.org More information concerning Event organization can be found at: http://www.fedcsis.org/2016/cfe
