Re: [Usecase-workshop] OGF Use Case
Dear OGF: f still possible, we might be interested in providing a use case: Art Vandenberg Georgia State University and member SURAgrid Leveraging SURAgrid Shared Community Grid to Extend Resources Available to Georgia State Research SURAgrid provides a grid infrastructure and shared community resource that enables Georgia State to improve research compute resources for researchers. SURAgrid provides a community with strategic vendor partnerships that has helped create needed cyberinfrastructure locally, offers access to additional grid-based technology, and promises to provide a significant "on-ramp" to national cyberinfrastructures such as peta-scale computing. thanks Art On Mar 25, 2008, at 1:15 PM, Ellen Stokes wrote:

Art,
Would you be interested in providing one or more use cases for this OGF workshop? I think there is something to be said about spreading the influence of SURAgrid :)
Here's the call for participation on the OGF website at http://www.gridforum.org/News/news.php?id=118
In about a week OGF will provide a suggested format for describing the use case.
There is no requirement that you need to attend in person....use case can be emailed in and there will be dial-in available for presenting the use case if you so choose.
Don't worry that the deadline for submitting an abstract has passed....OGF is still accepting (and wants) use cases. Ellen can help if you need more information.
Thanks,
Frank

Hi Art,
It would be great to get a use case(s) covering the SURAGrid activities. We are still iterating on the use case template but the current version can be found here - https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/wiki/do/viewAttachment/projects.workshops/wik...
If you have any problems accessing it please let me know. More details about the meeting will be appearing on the wiki page soon.
