Hi, According to: http://www.ogf.org/gf/group_info/view.php?group=ur-wg official chairs are Donal Fellows and Xiaoyu Chen. I don't know if they are still following the discussions on UR. If not we might rethink the whole assessment for the group. Does anyone know how this work to make things official? Is there a kind of votation? Maybe Donal or Xiaoyu have more information on that. Hi, the official way would be something like approaching your area director, tell him about the planned changes in leadership. In parallel get the confirmation of the group for the new leader, Morris already started this process. Once done and the group accepted the new leader change the groups web-pages and inform the AD. please consider your area director (me) as approached - Morris kept me in the loop :-) I agree with the point made by Andrea: this might be a good opportunity to rethink the group structure in general: get in touch with the former leadership, reconsider milestones etc. But the exact procedure is up to the group really - as long as you all reach (rough) consensus about goals and chairs, we are happy!
