At the UR-WG meeting at GGF16 last week, we discussed the problem that the current chairs of UR-WG are no longer active in GGF. The consensus of the meeting was that the current chairs need to be replaced. Laura McGinnis was nominated as the new chair of UR-WG, accepted the nomination, and had unanimous support from the meeting. Indeed, Laura has effectively been acting chair for some time.
