Additional comments Page 10, Authorisation: The feedback for the OGSA Data WG notes that the architecture whereby a using service "calls out" to an authorisation service is inadequate for some use cases. Another example occurs when a portal wants to show only those services available to a given user; if authorisation is done by the service then the portal will not have the necessary information.
Page 10, Application Provisioning: Is it worth noting that possible solutions include the user of virtual servers?
Response: The first above sounds more like a message to OGSA Authorization WG. The TSC document can only echo what the experts are actually working on. I recommend that the message be carried directly to the Security area.
