The goal of the C&C4WF workshop is to reinforce the role of workflows in the scientific community by introducing the dimensions of context and cloud computing (C&C). The workshop will meet three communities on context (context-based, context-aware, etc.), cloud computing and workflows (including scientific workflows) to look for extension of workflows like contextualized workflows, cloud workflows and, if possible, contextualized cloud workflows.
The conference welcomes papers on the following (but not limited to):
· Context models for workflows
· Cloud techniques for workflows
· C&C for workflows
· Contextualized workflows applications and case studies
· Cloud workflows applications and case studies
· Examples of C&C workflows
· Context-based workflow design
· C&C workflows for decision-making
· Knowledge and reasoning representation in extended workflows
· Architectures for extended workflows
Important Dates:
· March 20th (extended), 2013 - Submission deadline
· April 15th, 2013 - Acceptance Notification
· May 15th, 2013 - Camera ready submission
· August 3-4th,2013- Workshop day
Submission:
We look for regular papers of 12-pages length. We also accept position statement of length up to 6 pages as a participation ticket to the workshop.
Papers should include authors’ names and affiliation and full references. All papers should be formatted according to the AAAI formats: AAAI Press Author Instructions (http://www.aaai.org/Publications/Author/author.php)
We accept electronic submissions (pdf) only, and papers must be submitted by EasyChair system at: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cc4wf
Publication:
The workshop will be the object of publications with, first, a report on the workshop, which will be submitted to AI Magazine, and, second, after the workshop, some participants will be invited to extend their papers for a special issue in a journal.
