Requirement Document - Group feedback needed...

Hi Group, the SAGA Requirement document is, finally, getting close to publication. Attached is the current version, which we intent to submit to GGF Office on Friday night. This is the 'last call' for the group to provide feedback on the draft, or (preferrably ;-) to give us a 'go ahead'. Two notable points might change before submission: the author list might get extended (please speak up if you feel left out, or have suggestions!); and the Java-CoG sections needs revision - we are waiting for input from Gregor on that. Please provide feedback as early as possible, to allow us to keep our Friday submission deadline. Comments after (local) businness hours are very likely to be ignored (for this version). Best regards, Shantenu and Andre. -- "So much time, so little to do..." -- Garfield

Shantenu, Andre, The document provides a useful introduction to the motivation behind some of the less obvious aspects of the strawman API. I only have a few exceedingly trivial comments on the document. - page 3, typo "philopshy" - page 4 para 3, no opening square bracket - page 15, perhaps "recent and past projects" should read "current and past projects" - pages 21-24, numbering missing from some headings Graeme Quoting Andre Merzky <andre@merzky.net>:

Hi All, Thanks to Graeme and Steven Newhouse for feedback on the Requiremnt Doc. Feedback was incorporated into the document. An updated version has been submitted to the GGF Editor (successfully, I hope) as well as placed on the gridforge site by the 31st March deadline, thus making it eligible for discussion at GGF17. And many thanks to those of you who spotted the "lover" level groups typo on page 24 ;-) Shantenu
