
==================================================================== "Grid Computing - The Next Decade" Call for Papers Zakopane, Poland, 4-6 January, 2012 Venue: Hotel Belvedere, www.belvederehotel.pl/en/ ==================================================================== We are pleased to announce that "Grid Computing - The Next Decade" workshop will be held in January 4-6, 2012, in Zakopane, Poland. The workshop comprises of two and a half days of presentations, tutorials, and networking opportunities related to the Grid and Cloud computing global research and applications ecosystem. The program offers keynote talks by Grid and Cloud computing prominent thinkers as well as presentations of modern distributed computing infrastructures, capabilities and applications from users and community leaders. The meeting will also serve to build research and collaboration bridges between European, US, Asia-Pacific and other region’s research organizations. Moreover, a panel with representatives from US, European, Chinese and Japanese funding agencies will discuss funding opportunities for cross-boundary, global collaborations. There are multiple opportunities for participation and we are currently soliciting proposals for 4-page extended abstracts for presentations and posters. Submissions should be centered on Grid and Cloud applications, tools and related technologies.
