Additional items for OGSA Authentication BOF

Discussion after the BOF meeting has brought forward the following items related to the OGSA AuthN topic: 1) In addition to describing community practices for existing methods of authentication, a desire exists to put forward an assessment or evaluation of these with respect to each other and/or other methods that might be proposed. This comparison should include the following: - conformance to existing external standards vs. need for additional documentation - existing implementations (characteristics, number, etc.) - performance factors (payload size, communication handshake frequency, etc.) - requirements in terms of component and/or certificate distribution prior to use This evaluation can either be done as a separate document or be incorporated into one of the other defined document outputs of the group. Thoughts, reactions and additional factors for the evaluation are welcome. 2) The group needs an additional chair if approved. Volunteers are welcome. (If enough people volunteer as chair, maybe I can just contribute as an author!) Thanks for everyone's contributions and for the feedback.
