A final(?) correction: I should also have changed the names of the time zones affected by DST. Some readers weren't sure which time I meant. 7.30am PST / 10.30am EST / 4.30pm BST / 5.30 pm CEST Dave.

Of course, it would help if I got the correction right. As Susan pointed out in e-mail, the times should actually be:
7.30am PST / 10.30amm EST / 4.30pGMT / 5.30 pm CET.
I assume that everyone is now thoroughly confused ;-).
