You're essentially correct. WSRF has no "builtin" resource enumeration function, as this would be a higher level system-like function.

For a link between WBEM/CIM and WSRF, please see the document at: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/specification/ws-w sdm/ It is the proposal to map CIM onto WSDM (Web Services Distributed Management). WSDM, to put (a bit too) simply, is a layer on top of WSRF/WSN, and even if you only don't know WSDM you might be able to understand a lot of the document (see section 11 and especially section 16).
