CFP - 1st International Workshop on Service-Oriented Applications Development: Methodologies and Tools (SOAD-MT'14), Warsaw, Poland, September 7-10, 2014

CALL FOR PAPERS ======================================= 1st International Workshop on Service-Oriented Applications Development: Methodologies and Tools (SOAD-MT'14) Warsaw, Poland, September 7-10, 2014 WWW: http://fedcsis.org/soad-mt E-mail: soad-mt2014@fedcsis.org We would like to cordially invite you to consider contributing a paper to SOAD-MT 2014 - held as a part of the Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (FedCSIS 2014). The discipline of Software Engineering has already established itself as a prime contributor towards sustenance and accelerated growth of infrastructural development process. It is further recognized that traditional software engineering approaches require extensions in the context of revolving computing paradigms like service oriented computing, cloud computing, grid computing etc. Service-oriented computing is considered today a key technology for the development of robust and high quality intelligent distributed applications. Moreover, service-oriented applications play an important role in enterprise computing including mobile enterprise systems and more recently in the field of cloud computing. While there is an agreement about the main principles for designing and developing such applications, methodologies and tools that support the development of service-oriented applications are still a subject of intensive research. The goal of this workshop is to address these gaps by strengthening the cross-fertilization of advances from software engineering methodologies and service oriented computing for effectively managing the ever-increasing complexity of applications development. TOPICS ======================================= Submissions are expected from, but not limited to the following topics: - Architectural styles, Reference models and standards for Service Oriented systems - Case Studies and best practices of Service Oriented development - Cloud Services and service applications in the cloud - Cost modeling of Service Oriented System - Design methodologies for Service Oriented system development - Distributed and collaborative software service development - Engineering Service Oriented applications in social network contexts - Engineering Service Oriented database applications - Management and governance of service engineering projects - Mobile Service Engineering and Applications - Model-driven SOA and service systems development - Models, languages and methods for service-oriented analysis and design - Quality Evaluation for Service Oriented Systems development - Requirements Engineering for Service Oriented System - Service Oriented business process modeling - Service Oriented System development lifecycle methodologies and processes - Security in Service Oriented System - Service Information Technology and Decision Making - Tool support for software service engineering - Validation, verification and testing of Service Oriented Applications - Web-services PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION ======================================= Papers should be submitted by April 11, 2014. Preprints will be published on a USB memory stick provided to the FedCSIS participants. Only papers presented during the conference will be submitted to the IEEE for inclusion in the Xplore Digital Library. Furthermore, proceedings, published in a volume with ISBN and ISSN numbers will posted at the conference WWW site. Since 2012, Proceedings of the FedCSIS conference are indexed in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science. Moreover, extended versions of selected papers presented during the conference will be published as Special Issue(s).
