The DAIS Specifications have now completed their initial GFSG Review, and have just entered their public comment period; these specifications are a component of the OGSA data architecture, hence this posting. This message is to encourage comments on the specifications. In this context we would welcome (for example): 1. Technical comments on any aspects of the specifications, in terms of their scope, clarity and correctness. 2. Comments from application developers on the suitability of the specifications for their use cases. 3. Comments from organisations that may be interested in implementing the specifications, for evaluation, for use for a specific purpose, or as part of a wider platform. 4. Comments from organisations or communities that might be interested in developing designs, either internally or as part of a standards activity, that extend the WS-DAI specification. 5.
