In Barcelona there was more interest in defining a set of
command line tools to access and query an endpoint. An HPCBP equivalent to qsub,
qstat and qdel that an application ISV would shell out to send input and parse
generated output.
Within these commands we could define some APIs as well.

Steven / Andrew,
Item 640 (OPEN ISSUE FOR
DISCUSSION & FEEDBACK: How to access these services? By directly consuming
the endpoint and generating the web service client or through a 3rd party
client toolkit that provides an API around the web service protocols? )
Is
anyone working to propose an API here other than the brainstorming we
considered in meeting at UVA in the spring, or is concept falling from favor?
Pete.
