[ogsa-wg] EM resource modeling (GLUE vs CIM)

Hi all,

As soon as you start trying to organize or decompose this space according to conceptual interface rather than implementation, you run headlong into the community modeling tar-pit.

The problem is, in OGSA we are just starting to tackle this, starting by execution management. Welcome to the tar pit! :-) We are starting by comparing GLUE, JSDL, and CIM (including JSIM). This should help defining a resource model for the container and other entities. BTW, here goes a request. Some people had already done a comparison of CIM and GLUE long ago, but we don't know who still have the files with the results. Do you have these files, or know anybody who participated in this work who might have them? Thanks in advance, Fred Maciel.
