ARES will highlight the various aspects of security - with special focus on the crucial linkage between availability, reliability and security. ARES aims at a full and detailed discussion of the research issues of security as an integrative concept that covers amongst others availability, safety, confidentiality, integrity, maintainability and security in the different fields of applications. ARES will emphasize the interplay between foundations and practical issues of security in emerging areas such as e-government, m-government, location-based applications, ubiquitous computing, autonomous computing, chances of grid computing etc. ARES is devoted to the critical examination and research challenges of the various aspects of Secure and Dependable Computing and the definition of a future road map. Selected papers that are accepted by and presented at the ARES Conference will be published, after further revision, in special issues of international journals. The acceptance rate of the ARES 2015 conference was 29% (full papers only). Authors are invited to submit research and application papers according the following guidelines: two columns, single-spaced, including figures and references, using 10 pt fonts and number each page. For the main conference as well as the workshops submission papers are classified into 3 categorizes representing original, previously unpublished work: full paper (10 pages) short paper (6 pages) workshop paper (8 pages, a maximum of 10 pages is tolerated) Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, presentation and clarity of exposition. Call for Dissemination Events Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems Gdansk, Poland, 11-14 September, 2016 _www.fedcsis.org_ <file:///C:/Users/Kasia/www.fedcsis.org> The 2016 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems cordially invites you to consider contributing a “Dissemination Event.” A number of grant mechanisms (in particular, EU / NATO-funded research / coordination actions) involve dissemination of results in the form of workshops, symposia, etc. Since the FedCSIS multi-conference consists of a significant number of events related to various areas of ICT, it is a natural place for organization of grant-related events. Proposals for new Dissemination Events are going to be accepted until December 15, 2015. The Events can run over any span of time within the conference dates; from half-day to four days. Publications Dissemination Events are offered an opportunity to publish an individual volume in the Annals of Computer Science and Information Systems (ACSIS) series (_http://annals-csis.org/_) Publication will have ISBN, ISSN and DOI numbers and will be submitted to citation indexing engines (including SCOPUS, DBLP and Google Scholar). Dissemination Event Proposals Dissemination event proposals should include the following information (2 pages maximum): 1. The nature of the Event (name of the grant/action/activity it is associated with). 2. The title of the Event, and a clear description of the topic. 3. The complete contact information of the Event organizers, including a link to their personal websites. 4. Indication of the expected number of papers/attendees to attend the Event. 5. Information about requested services related to promotion / marketing of the event / grant. CALL FOR EVENTS Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems Gdansk, Poland, 11-14 September, 2016 www.fedcsis.org The 2016 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems cordially invites you to consider contributing an Event (conference, symposium, workshop, consortium meeting, project dissemination meeting, special session, etc.). The FedCSIS multi-conference consists of a significant number of recurring Events and it welcomes proposals for new Events until October 30, 2015. The Events can run over any span of time within the conference dates; from half-day to three days. The FedCSIS Events provide a platform for bringing together researchers, practitioners, and academia to present and discuss ideas, challenges, and potential solutions on established or emerging topics related to research and practice in computer science and information systems. The Events will be selected based on the scientific/technical interest and/or their relevance to practitioners in their topics, the clarity of the proposal in addressing the requested information, the innovativeness of the Event topics, and the fit with the FedCSIS multi-conference program. The FedCSIS 2015 - held in Lodz, Poland - attracted 379 papers, of which 86 were accepted as full papers (acceptance rate of approximately 23%). Some events accepted additionally short and position papers. FedCSIS 2015 full and short papers are being submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, while position papers are being published in a separate volume of the Annals of Computer Science and Information systems series (publication process will be completed by November 30, 2015). PUBLICATIONS As in previous years, FedCSIS preprints will be published on a USB memory stick given to FedCSIS participants. Only papers presented during the conference will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (or will appear as position papers, published in a separate volume), and posted at the conference WWW site. The IEEE DL proceedings will be published with an ISBN, ISSN and DOI numbers (and, an IEEE Catalog number), under a nonexclusive copyright. Such copyright implies that Events' organizers can and, indeed, are strongly encouraged to invite extended and revised papers for post-conference publications in high-quality journals, edited volumes, etc. EVENT PROPOSALS Event proposals should include the following information (2 pages maximum): 1. The nature of the Event. 2. The title of the Event, and a clear description of the topic, including a brief justification. 3. The complete contact information of the Event organizers, including a link to their personal websites, and an overview of previous experiences with organization of scientific events. 4. Preliminary list of PC members who have agreed to join. 5. Indication of the expected number of papers/attendees to attend the Event. 6.
