We are thrilled to announce the third edition of the workshop on Technologies for Network Twins (TNT 2024), a pioneering event dedicated to exploring the vast potential of digital twin applications in the realm of interconnected systems. The workshop on Technologies for Network Twins aims to bring together researchers, experts, and practitioners from academia and industry to share their latest insights and discoveries in the field of network digital twins. This workshop will serve as a vibrant platform for fostering collaboration, exchanging ideas, and developing innovative solutions to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the rapidly evolving world of interconnected systems. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Authors are invited to submit high-quality, original contributions for presentation at the TNT 2024 workshop. Technical papers can be of two types: * Full papers, up to 6 pages, excluding references and all other material. * Short papers, up to 4 pages, excluding references and all other material. Long papers are the more traditional form to present technical work. Long papers should emphasize not only novelty and vision, but execution and thoroughness of the contribution (design, evaluation). Short papers are the preferred vehicle for visionary, concept-type papers, or proof of concept papers whose description fits within a smaller number of pages. Papers submitted should describe original, previously unpublished research results, not currently under review by another conference or journal. Papers not meeting the length and formatting requirements or violating IEEE's guidelines on plagiarized content will be rejected without review. All submissions must be written in English and must use standard IEEE two-column conference template that can be downloaded from https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all manuscripts must be electronically submitted through JEMS at: https://jems3.sbc.org.br/noms_tnt2024 All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed in IEEE Xplore digital library. ************************************************************************** CALL FOR DOCTORAL SYMPOSIUM PAPERS 2024 IEEE/IFIP Network Operations & Management Symposium (NOMS 2024) 6-10 May 2022 --- Seoul, South Korea https://noms2024.ieee-noms.org/call-doctoral-symposium-papers ************************************************************************** OVERVIEW The Doctoral Symposium is a concentrated half-day event that will be held during IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2024, which will be held 6-10 May 2024 in Seoul, South Korea. In it, Ph.D. students present their ongoing research interests/plans/results to a panel of researchers in the field and receive specific constructive feedback, including opportunities to meet with mentors one-on-one. We encourage students to submit research description papers that clearly motivate, discuss, and summarize their Ph.D. research. Accepted papers (four pages maximum) will be published in the conference proceedings and be included in the online IEEE/IFIP NOMS conference proceedings and archived in the IEEExplore digital library once presented by the Ph.D. students during the conference. ELIGIBILITY AND TOPICS Ideal candidates will be in the early or mid stages of their PhD and should have a solid idea of their direction and topic, but should also have room for improvement. The Doctoral Symposium welcomes applicants from a broad range of disciplines including Management of 6G Networks and Network 2030, Management of Smart Vertical Systems in the Industry 4.0 Era, Artificial Intelligence techniques for Network and Service Management, Management of Softwarized Networks, Software-Defined Networking, Network Function Virtualization, Service Function Chaining, VR, Cyber Security & Cyber Resiliency, Service and application management, and related fields. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES To apply to the Doctoral Symposium, please submit the following two documents through JEMS3 at https://jems3.sbc.org.br/noms_doctoral_symposium2024: * Research description paper of 4 pages in length including references, using the IEEE 2-column format. The manuscript must clearly motivate, discuss, and summarize the proposed Ph.D. research, describe how the adopted approach fits into and advances research in related fields, and report on your progress. You may additionally focus on a more specific area of the research if desired. In the concluding section, you should identify 2 questions/areas for improvement that you would like to discuss during the session. * A one-page Curriculum Vitae.
