Dear all, I would like to invite you to submit a paper to the Information Communication Technology-Eurasia Conference (ICT-EurAsia 2013) which will take place in Yogyakarta (Indonesia) 25th-29th March 2013. http://www.ifs.tuwien.ac.at/ict-eurasia/ The conference is supported by ASEA-Uninet (ASEAN-European University Network), EPU (Eurasian Pacific University Network), IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing). ICT-Eurasia 2013 provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners to present their latest research findings and innovations. The conference is especially focused on the very vivid and agile development of ICT-research in the last decade. ICT-Eurasia 2013 is aiming at facilitating the exchange of ideas and advances in all aspects of ICT and at fostering scientific cooperation in the Eurasian region. ICT-experts from all over the world who are interested to disseminate their work in the Eurasian supercontinent are very welcome and are invited to submit their contributions. The proceedings of the conference will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science of Springer. ICT-Eurasia 2013 will be held at the Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia from 25th to 29th March 2013. Gadjah Mada University is the oldest and one of the most prominent universities in Indonesia. Yogyakarta is renowned for its cultural heritage. The Borobudur temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries is a UNESCO World Heritage and one of the most attractive cultural sites in Asia. Among these technologies, Cognitive-based text understanding (CTU) is one of the newest directions of Web Wisdom and should be paid more attention to. The machine understanding of Web resources is the basis of Web Wisdom. Cognitive Informatics (CI) is an emerging discipline that studies the natural intelligence, internal information processing mechanisms of the brain and the processes involved in perception and cognition as well. CTU simulates the cognitive process of human brain understanding text, so it takes advantage of cognitive theories to make the machine understanding of Web resources effectively and promotes Web Wisdom to a great extent. In this special issue, we call for original papers related to cognitive-based text understanding and web wisdom. Topics: Areas of interests include, but not limited to: * Text Mining and Semantic Organization； * Cognitive-based Text Understanding； * Cognitive-based Text Complexity and Readability Measurement; * Cognitive-based Textual Knowledge Trust Measurement; * Theories and Practices of Wisdom Web; * Cognitive Models and Computational Models for Web Wisdom; * Intelligent Web Searching and Services; * Web Knowledge Services and Fusion; * Data Link and Semantic Link for Web Wisdom; * Web Mining and Information Retrieval for Web Wisdom; * Web Knowledge Organization and Fusion for Web Wisdom; * Web-based Cooperation Model for Web Wisdom. Submission : Each paper for submission should be formatted in double spacing, single column of no more than 20 pages in length. A separate cover letter should be submitted that includes the paper title, the list of all authors and their affiliations, and information of the contact author. Each paper will be reviewed rigorously, and possibly in two rounds, i.e., minor/major revisions will undergo another round of review.
