That'll be Floridan, i.e., Eastern Standard Time (GMT-05:00). That (probably, assuming I've guessed your timezone right) means that it will be at 06:00 on Wednesday your time (as opposed to 22:00 for me). Donal.
Hi all, Could anyone kindly tell me that how to participant the Panel discussion via the Accessgrid, which Venue should I enter? Thank you. It is the Shakespeare venue from the UK Virtual Venue server: https://ag2server.ag.manchester.ac.uk:8000/venues/default --> UK Shared Virtual Venues --> Shakespeare To connect directly: video: 233.3.18.43:57006 audio: 233.3.18.43:57004 If you will be connecting via AG please can you let me know and connect 15 minutes in advance so that we can check sound levels etc. The panel will start at 5pm Florida time (5hrs off GMT) Regards, Steven -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Dr Steven Newhouse Mob:+44(0)7920489420 Tel:+44(0)23 80598789 Director, Open Middleware Infrastructure Institute-UK (OMII-UK) c/o Suite 6005, Faraday Building (B21), Highfield Campus, University of Southampton, Highfield, Southampton, SO17 1BJ, UK
Hi Steven, Thanks for you reply. There are some problems for us to connect to the Venue server, but I could directly connect to the video and audio service. I will arrive at our meeting room at 5am GMT +8 (4pm Florida time). I think there will be enough time for us to test the effort of the AG system. See you then. I have to go to bed now :) Best Regards, Liang ZHONG Grid Computing Research Group Institute of Advanced Computing Technology, Beihang University Tel: +86 10 8233 8984 Fax: +86 10 8231 6796 Addr: Room 507, Building G,The New Main Building, 37# Xueyuan Rd., Haidian District, Beijing 100083, PRC -----Original Message----- From: Steven Newhouse [mailto:s.newhouse@omii.ac.uk] Sent: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 9:00 PM To: Liang Zhong Cc: ogsa-hpcp-wg@ggf.org; p.m.oliver@rl.ac.uk; Hill, NM (Nick) Subject: Re: [ogsa-hpcp-wg] Interop Panel on the UK e-Science Booth

Hi all, After so many problems, today I managed to get the service running properly: all the operations are ready now. sorry for delay (I'm jsut fixing the getActDoc). Some of you (CROWN, GRIDSAM) already performed some create/terminate/status test. I would be glad, if you could perform some tests and if they succeeded, to update the wiki pages with the results as soon as possible: tomorrow from 12:00 on, I will attend the INFN booth and I am going to make a presentation and a DEMO of BES interoperability: I would like to show the wiki page during my presentation (you're welcome to attend and interoperate if you want ;-) please: BE sure to download and use the latest JSDL and CA certificate uploated in the wiki pages. Please, if possible use the following user/pwd list when submitting requests: peter/lane luigi/cream chris/platform liang/crown mark/uv genesis/jetty gridsam/vesso richard/microsoft (SC06/SC06 being still working) besides being useful for debugging, I would like, during my DEMO,to show the different accesses made by the different projects. I really thank you all for your support, if any problem arises please send me a mail. I am terribly sorry to bother you at the very last moment, but unfortunately, several problems (the last one being our server machine certificate expired yesterday...) have been showing up over the last days. thank you all for your hard work. I'll be passing by the booths anyway, to check if there are any probs. cheers, see you tomorrow, Alessandro
