We want to enhance some functions of hadoop, especially the scalability and scheduling modules. So, I want to participate in this group, to learn and discuss with you experts in HPC. The best response people for this are the group chairs: Group Chair(S): Marty Humphrey<mailto:humphrey@cs.virginia.edu>, Steven Newhouse<mailto:Steven.Newhouse@microsoft.com> But post your questions to the list so that we can all respond! Also, the group is in a 'quiet' mode at the moment. We have a set of specifications that have been published and have been shown to be interoperable. Those published specifications (the HPC Basic Profile) would be a good place to start. Steven
