Problem while using client interaction with UVA .Net Implementation

Hi,all, This afternoon, I was trying to use CROWN client to invoke the service of UVA .Net Implementation. And got a AixsFualt Exception from the server side. The Fault stacktrace and soap request file are attached with this mail. Could anyone here help me to find out where is the problem? Hi, I'm confused - an Axis fault on our "server side", which is .NET and has nothing to do with Axis? Is it possible that you aimed this SOAP at the wrong UVa implementation? (Note that there is more than one UVa implementation) I hope this helps, Marty _____ From: ogsa-hpcp-wg-bounces@ogf.org [mailto:ogsa-hpcp-wg-bounces@ogf.org] On Behalf Of Liang Zhong Sent: Monday, October 30, 2006 2:43 AM To: ogsa-hpcp-wg@ogf.org Subject: [ogsa-hpcp-wg] Problem while using client interaction with UVA .NetImplementation Hi,all, This afternoon, I was trying to use CROWN client to invoke the service of UVA .Net Implementation. Yes, this is clearly the UVa Genesis II Implementation endpoint that you are trying to talk to, not the UVa .NET implementation. Today is kind of busy as we have a guest in town today, but I'll try to take a look at this better in a few hours and get back to you on it. -Mark On Mon, Oct 30, 2006 at 05:48:40AM -0500, Marty Humphrey wrote:

Actually, I misspoke. I forgot that your client was an Axis client. The Axis fault is from your client software (hence why Axis and not .NET), but you are definitely, according to the SOAP, talking to the .NET implementation. Off the top of my head, just quickly browsing your SOAP to determine that it was the .NET implementation, I see that you are using the wrong WS-Addressing version for the interop festival. I don't know if that is "THE" problem you are having, but it is "A" problem. -Mark -- Mark Morgan Research Scientist Department of Computer Science University of Virginia http://www.cs.virginia.edu mmm2a@virginia.edu (434) 982-2047

Yes, Mark is correct - the WSA version is the problem.
