Problem while using client interaction with UVA .Net Implementation

Hi,all, This afternoon, I was trying to use CROWN client to invoke the service of UVA .Net Implementation. And got a AixsFualt Exception from the server side. The Fault stacktrace and soap request file are attached with this mail. Could anyone here help me to find out where is the problem? Some type questions

Hi all, I'm wondering about some of the element types in FactoryResourceAttributesDocumentType. Specifically, should LocalResourceManagerType and NamingProfile be changed to xsd:string? I guess I'm not sure whether to put QNames, or an "expanded name" (I believe it's called). Should it be: <NamingProfile xmlns:besnaming="http://schemas.ggf.org/bes/2006/08/bes/naming"> besnaming:BasicWSAddressing </NamingProfile> or <NamingProfile> {http://schemas.ggf.org/bes/2006/08/bes/naming}BasicWSAddressing </NamingProfile> If it's supposed to be the second, then we can't use a QName, since it doesn't fit the proper syntax. I don't think there is an actual default type for expanded name, so xsd:string should suffice. Comments? -- Chris

We would like to have a companion 'quote sheet' in support of the press release. So I'm asking each of you to work in your organizations to secure a quote. Please provide the quote by end of next week 11/3 or, at minimum, let me know if your organization intends to provide a quote by that date. Couple of issues

Hi all, here follow a couple of issues that are still annoying us, the second being more an interesting than a problem. Can you please help us out? thank you very much in advance, cheers, Alessandro * ws-addressing: We are experiencing some problems when trying to integrate ws-addressing with Axis 1.x tooling: aparently the last ws-add available plugin had been mainteined untill 2004-addressing version, while BESFactory works with 2005-addressing version. For those who use Axis: did you come across any problem of this kind? Did you move to newer version 2.x (which is told to be compatible with 2005 version, yet it seems to be non-compatible at all with the previous version)? Eventually, has anyone tried to make a ws-addr client request services from a non ws-addr service? * other clients: as far as I understood, everyone is now trying to test their own client against as many other services as possible. I've noticed someone already posted the endpoint for some feedback. JSDL for my endpoint

Hi all, I've got something up and running which can accept CreateActivity now. I've embedded a JSDL document that works for my system. If you could use your name in the JobProject, I would appreciate it (not required though), and JobName can be anything. Also, if you specify the same output file all the time, LSF will append the outputs of multiple runs together. Demo concept diagram

Hi all, I've attached a powerpoint slide which has a diagram that shows (in my mind) the concept of the SC06 demo. I've put some text in the notes section that describes the concept. I have left the slide very plain (intentionally, as I'm a lousy powerpointer), but hopefully it properly illustrates the concept. Can we use this for the flyer? We can also use it for a common set of presentation materials that people may wish to use in the future. The text could be used to start some text for the flyer, and possibly for some other slides as well. Someone will need to volunteer to make the slide look good. John? Would you be willing? -- Chris
