Send mail to Joel and Julie 3.(Michel and Steven) Look at what HPCProfile did for BaseFaults and multiple renderings of DMI spec Notes: Steven and Michel attended OGSA F2F in which the DMI spec is presented and discussed. A lot of discussion happened around Data EPR. Mario asked if there was any interest from OGSA WG to take part in DMI spec process.. The answer seems to be no. Steven also reported that there was some discussion on HPC profile WG on what they would use for staging. They are coming up with a profile around staging elements. We should push them into using DMI for staging. Open items on Gforge: Composite data movements: Mario asked if the data is composite or is it the protocol. the answer was the protocol. Will the eprs provide any indication whether they are "source" or "sink". Michel says same epr can be used both as source and sink but not may be in same protocol. State diagram changes : When would the state change from "Created" to "Scheduled" ? When the DTI is ready to actually do the transfer the state changes to "Scheduled" It may be useful in cases where the host is busy with some other HPC activities and is not available for date movement. Organize a F2F: Not needed anymore
