Michael,

Thanks for passing that along!

DDS is a very interesting on the fundamental publish/subscribe pattern. It has gone in a different direction, real time, compared to where the Info-D WG in OGF has gone.

The current Data Architecture document does not really address publish/subscribe. We know that this is an important area but it was simply out of scope for V1 of the document. I would like to believe that it will be discussed in V2 and your participation in that would be very welcome!

[OGSA-D-WG] Data Distribution

I've recently became aware of this specification which is related to
data distribution.  While there are many other mechanisms available that
are used in grid scenarios, I believe this is interesting because it
seems to support the basics of a data grid.  Is anyone familiar with the
DDS spec?
