I have a slight preference for version
2 as this is an informational document so the extra verbiage may help the
reader. But it is a weak vote - I am perfectly okay with #1.

I think it should be "the capabilities and data" as opposed to
"or".
Similarly for the definition below. However, I think the one above
is more succinct and thus gets my vote.
