Please answer: Should we migrate from SVN to GIT?

Hi, as Andre pointed out in his mails in the JSON Rendering thread, it is now possible and encouraged to move OGF repositories to GIT. Thus I'd like to get a short yes/no from everyone to the following question: Should we migrate the OCCI WG SVN repository to GIT? Cheers, Florian

Git is the de facto developer choice these days. On Wed, Jun 27, 2012 at 8:24 AM, Feldhaus, Florian <florian.feldhaus@gwdg.de> wrote:

To be clear - the default repository we are providing in the new redmine.ogf.org set of services is git for all groups. We can install and support other repository systems if needed, but so far no groups have requested others. I would also like to encourage all occi-wg members to join and contribute code and projects to the interoperability-oriented cloud-plugfest-cg project on the OGF Redmine. Details at http://cloudplugfest.org under the "community tools" links. Thanks, Alan On Jun 27, 2012, at 12:24 AM, "Feldhaus, Florian" <florian.feldhaus@gwdg.de> wrote:
