Hi all, I have just upload in the repository the new revision of the document: http://redmine.ogf.org/projects/occi-wg/repository/revisions/monitoring/raw/... Providing a straightforward solution for simple use cases was a topic that emerged as relevant during last call, and this revision relaxes some constraints on the monitoring API in order to meet this intent. Basically, now monitoring mixins may be associated also to Entities not uniquely dedicated to monitoring, thus introducing the possibility to implement monitoring without instantiating specialized entities. The appendix is dedicated to four use cases of increasing complexity that illustrate the above points, the simplest being managed in an extremely simple way. Also regarding examples, I do not use the http rendering but a more readable representation of the involved resources.
