Quick note on next steps

Dear all, Beside all the cool extensions we're gonna be working on soon we need to write something like this sometime: http://ogf.org/documents/GFD.176.pdf This experience document is taken from the SAGA group, and is a good example - Experience documents are part of the OGF process BTW... Just wanted to throw this in based on current ongoing discussions... Cheers, -Thijs

Note that the experience document is, first of all, supposed to demonstrate / document interoperability between different implementations of a specification. The SAGA document cited by Thijs may be somewhat misleading in that respect (it is not well defined how to demonstrate interop for a language independent API like SAGA). Examples which are somewhat closer to OCCI (in respect of technology) might be: WSRF Basic Profile Experiences: http://ogf.org/documents/GFD.148.pdf ByteIO Interface Experiences: http://ogf.org/documents/GFD.146.pdf Hope that helps, Andre.
Just wanted to throw this in based on current ongoing discussions...
Cheers,
-Thijs
