Hi all, I've just discovered there is an OCCI group on github, "mirroring" a lot of interesting OCCI related resources. IMO, popularity and tools associated with github is really good for diffusing OCCI ! I have 2 questions: - how to be mirrored by github's OCCI group ? (yep, I'm thinking about erocci :) ) - the occi-extensions repository is empty. Could it be possible to put/mirror specifications on it ? While OGF reopository is organized with branches for each draft specification, it does not allow a user to easily get what's ongoing work. I would suggest to organize it with directories, instead of branches. Something like: /stable -> stable specifications /draft -> ongoing specifications, for which there is a (draft) document + formal description (XML ?) /experimental -> formal description (XML), but no document For specifications categories, why not inspire from XMPP ( http://xmpp.org/xmpp-protocols/xmpp-extensions/ ): active (or stable), deprecated, draft, experimental, etc. Anyway we organize it, I strongly support having formal description (XML) associated with specifications, so that implementations conformance is easier to achieve.
