Re: [occi-wg] new draft of the documents available...

Hi, We will split this overall docbook-book into two documents (which will comply to the OGF template). First on will be the specification and the second one about use cases and requirements. They will hopefully be generated out of the docbook easily...then the documents go through the normal OGF editor process and then we have to be compatible to OGF's thoughts :-D I aware of this topic and keeping track of it. We'll work on it before OGF 27. Cheers, -Thijs On Wed, 2009-07-22 at 10:12 -0600, Gary Mazz wrote:
I have a question about the format of the document. It looks different from the other OGF standards doc in terms of both format and content. I'm concerned that this format is foreign to OGF and not appropriate for a standard. Unless, they have already approved the format.

Hi, After 4 hours of playing with docbook stylesheets I manage to let the document look like the OGF template...Both version can be found here: http://forge.ogf.org/sf/go/doc15731 and here: http://forge.ogf.org/sf/go/doc15732 Still need to cleanup and work on the stylesheet to let the documents look nice...but that is for another time/day. Nice work Thijs! Perhaps we should contribute this back to OGF as using Word for standards is... well... let's just leave it at that. Sam On Thu, Jul 23, 2009 at 3:46 PM, Thijs Metsch <Thijs.Metsch@sun.com> wrote:
