OGF this doesn&#39;t have to happen a lot. And until we are not pushing Sun<br>
Cloud APi into the OGF group we are fine without an signed statement.<br></blockquote></div><br>As you say, if we&#39;re not importing any APIs wholesale we should be fine - most of what we&#39;d incorporate passes the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inventive_step_and_non-obviousness">obviousness test</a> anyway... it&#39;s just when people start talking about commercial APIs as &quot;starting points&quot; that I break out into a cold sweat.<br>
