
Hi, Not to seem biased towards OVF, libVirt and openNebula also has a comparable XML descriptor format. Each have their own strengths, although OVF is now under development an accredited standards body. Actually we're format agnostic (like the Internet), though we do usually talk about OVF as it has little competition and we're not in the business of writing container formats.
