With the help of Boris Parak we ironed out some remaining bugs in rOCCI-server and just released version 0.5. Download from
https://github.com/gwdg/rOCCI-server/downloads

The important changes are:
* improved documentation 
* lots of bug fixes 
* preliminary JSON support 
* outsorced general OCCI functionality into occi gem 
* support for X.509 authentication 
* support for OS and resource templates in OpenNebula backend 
* new backend manager to support additional backends

For the next version we plan to
* further improve the OpenNebula backend
* add stable VNC support
* add EC2 support
* improve scalability
