Amongst a large number of interesting GSOC project proposals from te globus folx, there is also this one http://dev.globus.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code_2010_Ideas#Expand_Nimbus_RE... which seems to work towards an OCCI implementation for Nimbus. So, in case anybody here knows a good student who could pull this off, please forward that link. That implementation would w/o doubt benefit both OCCI and Globus/Nimbus.
