The spec doesn't yet say anything about how local devices should be specified. ... Not sure what you mean by local devices, could you please elaborate more on this?
I meant the 'sda1' which you've put in the line above - clearly necessary to specify where it will appear to the VM, but not yet in the spec. Richard.
