This sounds good to me. Wolfgang Ziegler and I talked briefly about upcoming opportunities and think that the EGI event makes more sense for OGF to pursue than either the CAC (Boston September 2015) or UCC (Cyprus Dec. 2015) conferences at this time, although OGF does co-sponsor the AMGCC’15 workshop. Perhaps we can advertise these other events as opportunities at which interested OGF groups might meet, and encourage a larger gathering at the the EGI event.
It would be good, however, this time to make sure that the OGF plenary talks and other portions of the program are better integrated into the main EGI program than they were last time.
By the way, the update that I delivered on OGF progress at the NIST event this week (their cloud computing forum and workshop VIII) was very well received, and I got many positive comments from people about OGF’s approach and progress.
Perhaps we can put together a short list of upcoming OGF group meeting opportunities to be posted on the web site and on the OGF calendar there?
Response from the OCCI WG about meeting in Bari in November for the EGI forum would be useful, to be able to plan ahead of time.
I will attend the EGI Community Forum in Bari, I can represent the OCCI WG there if need be.

The security groups could overlap with what the AARC project will be proposing (which in turn overlaps with some of the EGI stuff), but I am unsure of what the remaining groups in OGF are planning (or would be planning if they were planning). It doesn't matter so much now except that we need to know roughly how much time and how many rooms we need and then roughly the classification of topics.
I was planning to request 2 days, with two parallel tracks, and then tick the boxes for "community engagement and innovation", "data and computing", "identity provisioning" and "open science commons" (leaving only the VRE box unchecked). Or we can have two parallel tracks one day and a joined up one the second.
So for the ADs and the OCCIers, if you think you will be doing something please let me know ASAP.
I imagine we will need to iterate with the organisers a few times anyway.
