I am writing to provide an update on the work of the Cloud Standards Customer Council over the last few months. You are welcome to do the same and I will share across the CSCC’s network. Please feel free to forward. 

Over Q2 and early July, the CSCC has published:

·         Cloud Customer Architecture for Blockchain – A reference architecture for creating blockchain applications + review of blockchain concepts 

·         Practical Guide to Cloud Management Platforms – A guide to CMPs, capabilities/functions, evaluation criteria, and deployment considerations 

·         Data Residency Challenges (a discussion paper) – Data residency issues and risks, laws and regulations, applicable and related standards, cloud customer needs

·         Hybrid Cloud Considerations for Big Data & Analytics – A companion guide to Cloud Customer Architecture for Big Data & Analytics (now v2). The majority of big data & analytics use cases are on hybrid cloud infrastructure.
