Dear all, Since the OGF schedule (http://ogf.org/gf/event_schedule/index.php?event_id=20) is finally published I wanted to give you an heads up on the plans we have for this event. We have a set of desired outcomes for this event which includes: * a first (draft) JSON rendering doc * a more detailed plan on OVF integration/rendering * a first (draft) for the experience doc Since this requires some work we’ll have a full day F2F meeting which is really a working group session where we will hack documents and discuss. This all-day event will take place on Monday Sept. 19. Next to this F2F meeting we have some more general sessions. They will take place on Wednesday Sept. 20. These are the agendas: 1. Session - Group presentations: Introduction (chairs) 15 min FI-ware - Andy Edmonds - 15min Contrail - Yves Yegon - 15min Implementation updates / OCCI implementation demos (OpenNebula, OpenStack, TBC) 2. Session - Group discussion: Update on discussion outcomes of our F2F meeting Current OCCI Critiques on model or renderings (bring your REST hat :-)) Upcoming OCCI Monitoring/Negotiation JSON/OVF discussion 3. Session OCCI/CDMI integration We’ll try to dial into the Cloud plug-fest during this session. F2F mtg at OGF33 in Lyon, Fr - September 19-23

Hi @all, We have gotten a request to organize a F2F meeting of our group during the OGF33 even in Lyon in September 19-23. Except the normal 2-3 slots for presentations & discussions I was wondering if their is interest to do a real 'working' meeting their as well. That would require a reasonable number of people willing to commit time and work for OCCI (e.g. for the extensions finalizing and writting documents). Please ping back if their is any interests. Hi, will the Planning Meeting take place today? I may not make it to the meeting. I just have two points. Could you please update the SDC Cloud Plugfest page with information on the Düsseldorf location and maybe that participants don't need to fill the Cloud Plugfest Application and Agreement. It would also be good if there would be a schedule for both locations. As announced yesterday in the Cloud Plugfest planning meeting, NetApp has been so kind to offer rooms in their Düsseldorf office to allow participants from Europe to also physically attend the Cloud Plugfest. Here are the details regarding the Düsseldorf location: - the Cloud Plugfest will start on Monday September 19 at 9am CEST (Central European Summer Time) and end on Wednesday September 21 at 6pm. - directions can be found under [1] and [2] - nearby hotels are [3] and [4] - wireless network will be provided - telco system and projector are available - basic catering will be provided by NetApp - up to 20 persons may attend - schedule is: * Plugfest Participant Setup - Monday Sept. 19 starting at 9am CEST (Central European Summer Time). * Plugfesting Begins - Monday Sept. 19 at 10am CEST. * Plugfest Lab open from 9am-6pm * Plugfest Ends - Wednesday Sept. 21 at 5:30pm CEST. * Plugfest SyncUp TelCo - daily at 5:30pm * Plugfest Participant Breakdown - Wednesday Sept. 21 at 5:30pm-6pm. Hi, In http://occi-wg.org/2011/05/25/occi-at-dmtf-apts is read: "The OCCI working group started the development of an informational white paper on the integration of CDMI, OVF and OCCI. The document can be seen as one (and maybe a first step) for close collaboration of the OCCI working groups with other standards in the cloud space. Please stay tuned for an update on the Whitepaper." The post was published in May 25th this year (3 months ago) and I wonder if the whitepaper was finally published or, otherwise, is there any update in the publication plan/date, please. Thanks!
