A paper about OCCI monitoring...

...has been accepted at Closer 2014 <http://closer.scitevents.org/>. The content is similar to that of the document currently proposed to this WG, but it has been made more readable to reach a wider audience. In particular, there is an introductive section explaining the basics of the OCCI model. It will be presented by myself on April 4th in Barcelona. OCCI relations extension

Hi all, I've just began a document to describe an OCCI extension for relations betwenn resources[0]. This model is inspired from work on Mancoosi[1] and Aeolus[2] projects. I've seen that platform extension describes some links between resources but, IMHO, these links should not be specific to a particular extension. For instance, an application could depend on specific compute memory amount but also a software application. This is reason why I'm proposing to describe these relations in a generic way. That way, for instance, a Manifest (as defined by CompatibleOne) could be simply described with a simple resource of "Manifest" kind with a list of links from the relation extension. Hi Jean, thanks for updating the JSON spec (in the json branch :-) ). I agree that source and target should not be repeated, but I would rather not see target and source as attributes as they represent other entities and not just basic data types. I would instead see them as properties and thus not put them in the attributes array. Regarding the collection rendering in JSON I wouldn’t use top level arrays as there are still vulnerabilities around them in JavaScript (see http://haacked.com/archive/2009/06/25/json-hijacking.aspx/) I would instead suggest to create an object with key „locations“ and an array of URIs as value. Hi all, I've just updated the JSON representation wrt recent discussion on this ml. It is in redmine. - Added collection rendering as simple JSON list of URI - Mention multiple representation of entity's occi core attributes. IMO, multiple representations should be avoided. We should agree on one.
