Hi all,
Here's the latest security document that incorporates the discussion
on the Skype chat session.
Please have your respective security folks review the document and
provide feedback. The bottom line is that we want to make sure that
networks deploying NSI are comfortable with the security aspects of
the messaging.
To put people on the spot, below is a list of point people and
associated networks that we would like to get agreement from:
- AIST - Tomohiro Kudoh
- ESnet - Chin Guok
-
GÉANT - Guy Roberts
- KDDI - Takahiro Miyamoto
- NORDUnet - Henrik Thostrup Jensen
- SurfNet - John MacAuley
Please have your comments in by mid-next week.
Thanks!
- Chin

Please continue the text only discussion on Skype. If
anyone wants to be on the skype session, and is not, please let me
know.
The attached document captures the new compromised proposal - what
Chin described on the call this morning, along with the background
on the main disagreements so far.
What we really need is for folks to check with their security
officers and get a sanity check on the new proposal to ensure we
do not make a security profile that will not stand the test of
production level security.
Thanks,
Inder
